Juri Groenland

Juri is a native of Southwest Lower Michigan, growing up in the village so nice they named it twice of Paw Paw. From there he started his gradual – and now permanent – move to the South by attending North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. After graduating from State, his path led him to joining the Navy and seeing the world. His 20-year Naval career started with Flight training in Pensacola, Florida and continued with tours additional tours in Florida, Kansas, and Virginia before three amazing years in Naples, Italy coming to the Lowcountry to finish out his career.

He and his wife Sherri were married at the Maritime Center in Charleston, a beautiful destination wedding for them, their friends and family! Charleston has always held a special place in their hearts, so when the opportunity arose to have the Navy pay to move them there, they jumped at it! And after moving seven times with the Navy over the years they are thrilled to be putting down some roots in the community!

After departing the Navy, Juri decided to pursue his Realtor ® license and continue serving as his heart for service wasn’t going to be filled in corporate America. Though he spent his first career in the Navy flying helicopters Juri is excited to put his extensive interpersonal skills to work as his clients Realtor ® of choice!
