Paul White

Paul relocated from the Northeast to the Charleston area almost 2 years ago, continuing his 20+ year career as a senior finance executive and CFO at a local home builder. Over the course of his finance career, Paul has an extensive background in all facets of commercial real estate and has: been involved in over $50M in transactions including Office, Industrial, Land, Mixed Use, and Single Family transactions; is an active real estate investor; a sometimes speculative builder; done numerous lease transactions from both sides of the table, and; negotiated literally hundreds of agreements. He then decided to get his real estate license and focus on investment, office and industrial acquisition/sales and leasing for Owners/Landlords & Tenant Representation. His hands-on knowledge of real estate, strategic thinking and focus on implementation makes Paul a trusted real estate advisor to his clients.

Paul began his career as a CPA and business consultant for two “big six” firms in New York, and then began a journey as a “serial CFO and business leader” working for public, private and PE-owned companies in New York and Connecticut before moving to Charleston. He earned both his BBA and MBA a Hofstra University while working full-time. Appreciating his Adjunct Professors, Paul has always tried to “give back”. He was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Yale University, where he mentored various young business graduates working on start-up projects there. As a Charlestonian he is now continuing that tradition as an Adjunct Professor at The Citadel.

Paul lives in Mt Pleasant with his wife of over 30 years. Outside of work, he enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, boating and golf, as well as domestic and international travel, and “grillin and chillin” with family and friends.
